What we do

Our guides focus on real decision points: sun angle, wind exposure, mounting limits, fabric type, clearance, crop needs, renter rules, drainage and everyday use. Product categories may be mentioned when they help the reader compare options, but the advice is meant to stay criteria-first.

How we approach recommendations

We try to separate useful buying criteria from product hype. A larger awning, heavier shade sail or darker shade cloth is not automatically better. The right answer depends on the job: blocking low sun, cooling a greenhouse, covering a seating area, protecting a door, or creating shade at camp.
